Environ is a medically inspired skincare brand with a presence in 70 countries around the world. Environ was developed by a world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Des Fernandes, in South Africa in 1987. He was one of the first to focus on the usefulness of vitamin A (retinol derivative) for photoaging (UV damage). Environ uses a unique step-up system that gradually increases the concentration of vitamin A. Environ is favoured by international skincare therapists, the medical fraternity, beauty editors and celebrities alike. The brand has received more than 100 international awards for its outstanding products. Environ received a “Lifetime Achievement Award in Skin Care” and has been voted “Top Medical Skin Care” 2018-2022 by Aesthetic Everything® USA. In Japan, the brand was launched in 1991 and as of January 2022 it is available at more than 1,700 medical clinics and aesthetic salons nationwide.
